UFO Weaponry by Nick Redfern
The new issue of Britain’s Fortean Times magazine includes an article from me that is likely to intrigue some and both outrage and annoy others.
Basically, it goes like this: for some time now I have been pursuing an intriguing story about clandestine military research to try and harness ball-lightning and utilize it on the battlefield.
Just recently, and as a result of my digging, I managed to obtain a very large amount of FOIA documentation confirming that since the late 1940s (and, intriguingly, involving early players in the so-called “Green Fireball” phenomenon that plagued New Mexico in the same time-frame) there has indeed been an absolute wealth of official research undertaken to attempt to control - and perhaps even create - ball-lightning.
