How Israeli Backdoor Technology Penetrated the US Government’s Telecom System and Compromised National Security.

Since the late 1990s, federal agents have reported systemic communications security breaches at the Department of Justice, FBI, DEA, the State Department, and the White House. Several of the alleged breaches, these agents say, can be traced to two hi-tech communications companies, Verint Inc. (formerly Comverse Infosys), and Amdocs Ltd., that respectively provide major wiretap and phone billing/record-keeping software contracts for the US government. Together, Verint and Amdocs form part of the backbone of the government’s domestic intelligence surveillance technology. Both companies are based in Israel – having arisen to prominence from that country’s cornering of the information technology market – and are heavily funded by the Israeli government, with connections to the Israeli military and Israeli intelligence (both companies have a long history of board memberships dominated by current and former Israeli military and intelligence officers). Verint is considered the world leader in “electronic interception” and hence an ideal private sector candidate for wiretap outsourcing. Amdocs is the world’s largest billing service for telecommunications, with some $2.8 billion in revenues in 2007, offices worldwide, and clients that include the top 25 phone companies in the United States that together handle 90 percent of all call traffic among US residents. The companies’ operations, sources suggest, have been infiltrated by freelance spies exploiting encrypted trapdoors in Verint/Amdocs technology and gathering data on Americans for transfer to Israeli intelligence and other willing customers (particularly organized crime). “The fact of the vulnerability of our telecom backbone is indisputable,” says a high level US intelligence officer who has monitored the fears among federal agents. “How it came to pass, why nothing has been done, who has done what – these are the incendiary questions.” If the allegations are true, the electronic communications gathered up by the NSA and other US intelligence agencies might be falling into the hands of a foreign government. Reviewing the available evidence, Robert David Steele, a former CIA case officer and today one of the foremost international proponents for “public intelligence in the public interest,” tells me that “Israeli penetration of the entire US telecommunications system means that NSA’s warrantless wiretapping actually means Israeli warrantless wiretapping.”

Former prime minister Tony Blair has gone back to school, launching his new role as a lecturer on religion at top US university Yale.

Blair, who converted to Catholicism after leaving office in 2007 and talked increasingly openly of his Christian faith while prime minister, delivered the first of five lectures on Friday at the prestigious college in the state of Connecticut.

An enthusiastic audience of more than 2,000 students later thronged the ornate Woolsey Hall to hear a talk by Blair, who was in office from 1997 to 2007.

Blair is to give five lectures to a class of 25 students between now and the end of the year, then repeat the schedule for two more years, Yale spokesmen told AFP.

The course he is co-teaching as Yale’s Howland Distinguished Fellow is linked to the work of the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, which seeks to work for peace between religions in an age of globalization.

Economic Collapse and the New World Order.

Alternative media activist Alex Jones discussed the pending economic collapse and its relation to the New World Order. Several years ago, he warned that banks were planning to artificially implode the subprime mortgages, and now we’ve seen that come to pass.

A thousand trillion in fake assets were leveraged out by select international private banks, who used the “false paper” to buy up things such as media companies, defense contractors, shipping companies, and mines — then the real assets were “fenced” into key infrastructure leaving the big brokerage firms and banks as hollow fronts ready to fall, Jones explained. The public is then told “you will be in a depression,” unless you sign on for the bailout, he continued.

The proposed $700 billion federal bailout plan will actually end up costing $5 trillion, he declared. This plan, if enacted, will lead to 20-40% inflation in the next 2-4 years, and the military/police will be employed for crowd control in the face of civil unrest Jones cautioned. He also spoke about “false flag” events such as a faked UFO landing– a New World Order plan to instill mass panic and control. Such an event could be enabled by the Pentagon’s giant hologram projection systems, he noted.

The internet is buzzing today with the rumour that Barack Obama’s gaffe-prone running mate Joe Biden will drop out of the race for health reasons – to be replaced by Hillary Clinton.

John McCain’s selection of Sarah Palin as his running mate has created so much interest in the Republicans that Mr Obama will have to make a radical move to regain momentum, the argument goes.

Mrs Clinton could be just the key. Mr Biden, who had surgery in 1998 to repair two brain aneurysms, would drop out after the vice presidential debates due to be held on October 2, according to the claims – leaving the way open for the former First Lady.

After spending this morning bewildered by the unusual hoax, pupils from Stag Lane School in Collier Drive, quizzed police officers brought on to the site during a press conference to make the event seem more realistic. Forensic examiners had earlier analyzed an ‘alien claw’ they had ‘found’ on the site.

The aim of the day was to stimulate the children’s minds and help develop their story writing skills.

After lunch the pupils were informed by the school’s headteacher Elena Evans that it was all a stunt.

On a smaller scale, this sort of calls to mind Orson Welles’ famous broadcast of H.G. Wells’ War of the Worlds, which instilled fear in the hearts of middle class folk everywhere who couldn’t differentiate what was being described on the radio from what they thought were real events taking place. Similarly, many of the young students in yesterday’s experiment at Stag Lane School probably had issues distinguishing fact from fantasy. After all, if those in authority over you were to stand around telling you that, indeed, aliens are invading, in addition to the fact that they’re wielding convincing proof like an alien claw to boot, you’d probably buy into it also! And yet ironically, this sort of thing is just what some have suggested lays in our future on a global scale.

With a punk-style hairdo, a wisp of facial hair and a usually serious demeanor, Kazuki Hirano didn’t look like the kind of guy who could have plunged a knife into someone’s leg.

During an interview Tuesday at the county jail, Hirano was thin and drawn in his orange jail jumpsuit as he read from his carefully crafted notes, struggled with the English language and explained that his closest relative, his 65-year-old mother in Japan, is unable to help him.

The 34-year-old ex-laborer from Yokohama, Japan, has been jailed since April 2 for allegedly stabbing Rupert Sheldrake, a British biologist famous for his experiments in mental telepathy.

In telephone conversations, letters and two interviews at the Santa Fe County jail, Hirano has insisted he is a “guinea pig” in Sheldrake’s mind-control experiments using “remote mental telepathy.”

Hirano said he became convinced his thoughts were being controlled four or five years ago when he began to feel hypnotized while he was homeless in the Camden Town district of London. He said a man named “Doctor Tony” in London’s Stockwell district told him Sheldrake was conducting experiments in mind control on the homeless. Hirano said he didn’t believe this at first but came to accept it after reading about Sheldrake on the Internet. He said he now believes the American military is developing remote mental telepathy to combat terrorism.

Please understand what you are looking at when you look at Sarah “Evita” Palin. You are looking at the designated muse of the coming American police state.

You have to understand how things work in a closing society in order to understand “Palin Power.” A gang or cabal seizes power, usually with an affable, weak figurehead at the fore. Then they will hold elections — but they will make sure that the election will be corrupted and that the next affable, weak figurehead is entirely in their control. Remember, Russia has Presidents; Russia holds elections. Dictators and gangs of thugs all over the world hold elections. It means nothing. When a cabal has seized power you can have elections and even presidents, but you have freedom.

I realized early on with horror what I was seeing in Governor Palin: the continuation of the Rove-Cheney cabal, but this time without restraints. I heard her echo Bush 2000 soundbites (“the heart of America is on display”) and realized Bush’s speechwriters were writing her — not McCain’s — speeches. I heard her tell George Bush’s lies — not McCain’s — to the American people, linking 9/11 to Iraq. I heard her make fun of Barack Obama for wanting to prevent the torture of prisoners — this is Rove-Cheney’s enthusiastic S and M, not McCain’s, who, though he shamefully colluded in the 2006 Military Tribunals Act, is also a former prisoner of war and wrote an eloquent Newsweek piece in 2005 opposing torture. I saw that she was even styled by the same skillful stylist (neutral lipstick, matte makeup, dark colors) who turned Katharine Harris from a mall rat into a stateswoman and who styles all the women in the Bush orbit –but who does not bother to style Cindy McCain.

Then I saw and heard more. Palin is embracing lawlessness in defying Alaskan Legislature subpoenas –this is what Rove-Cheney, and not McCain, believe in doing. She uses mafia tactics against critics, like the police commissioner who was railroaded for opposing handguns in Alaskan battered women’s shelters — Rove’s style, not McCain’s. I realized what I was seeing.

Reports confirmed my suspicions: Palin, not McCain, is the FrankenBarbie of the Rove-Cheney cabal. The strategy became clear. Time magazine reported that Rove is “dialed in” to the McCain campaign. Rove’s protégé Steve Schmidt is now campaign manager. And Politico reported that Rove was heavily involved in McCain’s vice presidential selection. Finally a new report shows that there are dozens of Bush and Rove operatives surrounding Sarah Palin and orchestrating her every move.

WASHINGTON (AP) – Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke bluntly warned reluctant lawmakers Tuesday they risk a recession with higher unemployment and increased home foreclosures unless they act on the Bush administration’s $700 billion plan to bail out the financial industry.

Despite the warning, influential lawmakers in both parties demanded changes in the White House-backed proposal, and conservative Republicans recoiled at the prospect of federal intervention into private capital markets.

Six weeks before the elections, both major party presidential contenders also insisted on alterations in the administration’s prescription for the worst financial crisis in decades.

Bernanke’s remarks about the risk of recession came in response to a question from Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., who seemed eager to hear a strong rationale for lawmakers to act swiftly on the administration’s unprecedented request.

“The financial markets are in quite fragile condition and I think absent a plan they will get worse,” Bernanke said.

Ominously, he added, “I believe if the credit markets are not functioning, that jobs will be lost, that our credit rate will rise, more houses will be foreclosed upon, GDP will contract, that the economy will just not be able to recover in a normal, healthy way.”

A young man was stabbed Sunday aboard a Greyhound bus travelling near the town of White River, about 300 kilometres north of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. (Marcus Grundt/Canadian Press)Police are investigating a stabbing aboard a Greyhound bus bound for Winnipeg, an incident in which a young man was attacked by another passenger as the vehicle travelled through northern Ontario.

The man who was stabbed is believed to be in his 20s. He was taken to hospital Sunday afternoon with minor injuries, the Sault Star newspaper reported.

Police arrested a 28-year-old man near the town of White River, about 300 kilometres north of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., shortly after the bus driver let him get off at the side of the highway.

“I can confirm that an incident did occur aboard one of our buses,” said Greyhound spokesperson Abby Wambaugh, speaking from Dallas, Texas.

“The incident occurred 10 miles [16 kilometres] east of White River,” she said. “The bus originated in Toronto and was headed for its final destination of Winnipeg.”

Wambaugh said the company is “co-operating fully” with Ontario Provincial Police in the investigation.

Another bus was provided for the 13 remaining passengers to continue on their trip.

The incident comes less than two months after a Greyhound passenger beheaded Tim McLean, a 22-year-old man from Winnipeg, sparking questions about security on buses.

Vince Weiguang Li, 40, is charged with second-degree murder and is undergoing a psychiatric evaluation to see whether he is fit to stand trial. He’s scheduled to appear in court Oct. 6.
